what is this for...?

hello everyone,

i will try to upload the picture below, and i need to know what is the cap for (marked in red circle)...?

what is inside (water, coolant, hydraulic, etc)...?

how i check that (the level)...?

any info will be appreciated...

I believe that's the radiator cap (one of them) for the coolant system, which is used to cool the intercoolers. You can check the level in the main coolant tank (passenger side, closer to the front).

hello saintz and thanks for your reply...

did you mean it is a separate cooling system for turbos or it is connected to vehicle's main cooling system (if so, why would they put another cap under the cover?)...

The main cooling system is used to cool the intercoolers for the turbo. It's a water to air intercooler. There is a pressure cap by the radiator, which can be used to bleed pressure, bleed air, or top up the system. The pressure cap up there is presumably for the same reasons. If the intercooler gets too hot, having a second relief valve there would help.
