Starless grill on my CL

I got a new grill for my CL. I just couldn't stand that gigantic star in the middle of my grill. Yes, I know the car is filthy in the pictures...we've had rain and then wind/dirt storms for the past week here.
What do you think?

Thanks a bunch. I'll try to keep busy with the chrome strip idea...

You've been a HUGE help in getting my car looking the way I want.

So, are you heading down the "Stealth Bomber" look? Smoked lights, blacked out windows etc.?

Somewhat, I will draw the line at black wheels.

Right now, the tails, center brake light, mirror turn signals, and side markers are smoked; the windows are tinted; and the "CL600" and "V12" emblems are removed.

Right now, I plan on painting the grill matching met. black and maybe fitting polished aluminum or stainless strips to it.

I also plan to lightly smoke the front lights.

I would LOVE to put the black/silver AMG hood emblem on the car; but I don't have an AMG and don't like false badges.

I love it. Looks very "American Muscle" to me.

Bump : Where did you get it? I saw one on e-Bay, but it has to come from Taiwan. Would be nice to find a US supplier .....

Interesting. You don't like the big star but you like the AMG hood emblem. I guess it's a personal preference. I actually like having the big star smacked in the middle of the grill. It's Mercedes' branding. Maybe you should take it off all together. Jk
