Seat Control Module

My Seat Control Module on the drivers door is loose....feels like there is a clip missing or something.

Has anyone had this experience? If so, how did you fix it?

I am afraid to pull the module off of the door for fear of doing more damage.

What is the correct/safe way to remove this module from the door?

As always, Thanks for any help!

Sounds like one of the two plastic retainers on the bottom of the unit may be broken.

You need to take the A/C vent off the door panel. If you shine a flashlight in the vent you will see a captive Phillips screw that needs to be loosened. Once you have the A/C vent off, you will see a black plastic sliding mechanism to the forward side above the switch. Push it towards the rear of the car and the switch can be tilted out top first.
