Looks good. Is it real carbon or 3M vinyl? Where did you have it done?

Thank you. I also did the wheel, so I will post pics of that once I take the photo.

I did it over a weekend. I also left it in the sun to test for any lifting. Once I was happy with it, I installed. I would say about 12 hours of solid work.....

Not at all. I used a heat gun, and a very sharp blade. The hardest part was removing the inserts off of the doors.

during the process, I managed to fabricate new steel clips that hold the "seat adjustment" panel on. They are firmly in place and have no chance of popping out, as they do.

Did you clear coat it? I hear the glossy finish looks better than matte.

I chose not to clear coat it. My preference is the matte finish. The matte finish is a welcome change after having the glossy wood look for so many years.

Totally agree. I like the matte, so it's not glaring reflections in your face when you open the sunroof. The car really should have been offered from the factory with dry carbon fiber.

I ended up buying a new steering wheel cheap on eBay rather than wrapping the wood wheel.

it's cool if you're going for the "blacked out" look, which it appears you are. Not sure I'd like it better than the wood on mine.

truth be told, I started to notice a small hairline crack in the wood. Most people would never notice it, but as I am in the car every day, I did not want to have to look at it. The carbon wrap cost very little to do, and in my opinion looks a little more up-to-date. Dont get me wrong, I loved the wood, which is what I wanted when I orderd the car. 10 years is a long time to look at the same thing. The rest of the car is stock. I do not like to change what was designed to go on the car. When I am sick of the carbon, it will simply peel off.

I had noticed cracks as well. I know the carbon look is a personal taste (I don't think I would say ricer as many of the top end AMG models come with carbon interior). I've never quite been a fan of Mercedes wood. I think Bentley and Jaguar (interesting as both Brits) have better wood. BMW seems to have worse. The wood just never blew me away, but I know some people really like it.

Well the nice thing is that the carbon is not forever. To peel off the carbon will be a very quick job, and then back to the wood look.

Bentley has really high quality wood, but I don't think I've ever seen a 10-year-old jag without at least half of the wood pieces cracked.
