They are going to stick out too far. You will need to have your fenders flared a good bit or get new wheels. Cheaper route will probably be to get new wheels.

Alright guys... I switched tire my set up with those rims. What nightmare... Spacers didn't go in all the way. Center bore was to big. Took em to machine shop to get bored. My buddy's at Atkins in Fresno hooked it up. Had to do 225/30/20 in front and 255/30/20 in the back. Tires are stretched but not to bad in the back. Tires are comming in I'll post pics soon..

Those are some narrow tires for the CL. You better have very sticky tires or you will be smoking the rears and understeer like crazy in the turns.

Yes, stock tires are 265's in the rear and 245's in the front. You are loosing 60 mm of contact patch running the smaller tires. With a big, heavy, powerful car like the supercharged CL, you need everything you can get.

From my experience, the NT555's are less than good tires. With 500 hp you will have a very hard time getting traction. In the wet, you can forgetaboutit.

I am sorry but on a car like a CL55 I would never alter the size of the tires to go smaller than stock to make a set of rims work .. most people would want to go larger not smaller , plus the " Boring " of the wheels you describe is not clear but sorry it doesnt sound comforting .. thats me
