Hi folks, the front (driver side) fender on my 2004 CL500 seems to have come loose. I noticed the door & front fender were not lining up. On closer inspection, the rearmost part of the fender (closest to the door gap) seems to have "popped out". I can push it back in (toward the car) about 1/4" or so but it pops back up as soon as I let go. I don't know much about body work, but I'm guessing maybe a clip came loose or broke. Anyone know how these things are attached or had any experience with this?

If it is similar to the W210 attachment method , there is a slide bar that locks the bumper to the quarter panel , it is accessible ( not easliy ) through the wheel well ,but one has to remove the wheel well cover at least on the front side ... I am not sure how much help that is if you havent done it before but any decent body shop can do it in 15 minutes , ( assuming nothing is broken )

The fenders are plastic composite, not much repair/bodywork can be done on these. But as maxwerks stated it might have just unclipped.
