TODAY IN DUBAI MY CL 500 BURNED WHILE I WAS parking, with a help of god we quickly put water into it , PEOPLE around reacted quickly and helped me a lot if you read this massage (THOSE who helped me please masage to me i am owner of garage and will respon with help to you) After seeing this video i undestood that this car could explode, Thanks God that it did not happen.

Had the ABC hose recall been done, Mercedes recalled all the CL's for one ABC hose that could leak on the manifold or exhaust and start a fire.

IMO (after looking at your pics), I wouldn't bother trying to fix it. With all the complex electronics (and all your burned wires) this car will never be right again. You will spend a fortune trying to fix it. You could by another one cheaper (in the US anyway- they're VERY reasonable here.

Any idea what caused it? When my previous CL burnt down (before I owned / repaired it) it was the fan speed regulator mounted on the blower motor.
