Hi everyone,

Well my ABC light came on. I immediately read most of the posts on here about ABC problems. After reading i just hoped it wasnt the pump.

I took it to the dealer today. They ran a full diagnostic test. $380 later they told me i needed a new ABC pump. Gave me a quote for $4800.

Any suggestions what to do now?

Any suggestions where i can get a cheap ABC pump?

had mine done @ the MB dealer in '08 was $550 labor, $1000 for the pump. Total bill was about $1800 with fluid, tax, etc. Your dealership's prices are high.

 

wow, Benzel and Busch in North Jersey want like $400 just for the hydraulic fluid

 

try to find a good indie mechanic with STAR diagnostics that is familiar with ABC. You could (potentially) save thousands.
