so i was driving in stop and go traffic and all of a sudden the car completely shuts off. i stop and start it again and it shuts off for the 2nd time and the esp warning sign came on. Anyone know what the cause of this is or has it happenned to anyone?

Only way to find out is to read the codes that are stored. Unfortunately the only way you can do this is by going to a indy mechanic or dealership.

I had that problem on my SL500 and it was the CPS (Crankshaft Position Sensor). I don't know if it's the same with the V12 but the part was like $80 on the V8.
