interesting info mb road service
didn't know until yesterday and i've been using the dealer for over 1 year. apparently when you service the car at a dealer you get 18 months of free road service. mbusa rep. told me this when i called the 800 number.

Yes. Mercedes changed this a few years back. The old system used to be free roadside even out of warranty.
Under the new system as pointed out above you need to have your vehicle serviced every 18 months at a dealer to qualify.
If your Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicle is within its warranty period, it is automatically eligible for the full complement of Mercedes-Benz Roadside Assistance services. If your Mercedes-Benz
passenger vehicle is beyond its warranty period, it still qualifies for these services provided that your vehicle has been regularly serviced at an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealership prior to your Roadside Assistance request.
Please note, a single transaction of at least $100 in the 18 months prior to the Roadside call. Visit www.mercedesroadside.com for full eligibility requirements.
