Carlsson Wheels
Hi, I just recently bought a set of used Carlsson 2x16 Brilliant Edition wheels. They are 2 piece and is a 20 inch staggered setup. The front is 20/9 and the rear is 20/10. Front tires are 255 and rear are 285.
I have a problem trying to find lug nuts that are the correct size/style for the rear wheels. The fronts fit with the stock nuts but on the rears when tightened the wheels are still loose because I run out of threading on the stock nut.
I was also given spacers (a ring that goes around the inside of the hub of the wheel so I don't rub) with the purchase...if that makes a difference with nuts.
Sorry I am new to this and I have a lot of research to do and it's very difficult to get in contact with Carlsson otherwise I wouldn't need to ask this. I was hoping anyone could shed some light on this for me.
Here is some pictures of them if needed.
Thanks

OP, if you have spacers on the rear, you will need a longer bolt to install the wheels. Otherwise, like you said, you will run out of thread and lose the wheel. How big is the spacer?

I have been looking for days and I can't find any info regarding these wheels. Also I'm not exactly sure how big the spacer is...sorry I'm new to all this, but do I just measure the distance from one end to the other?? Haha I can post pix of them when I get home if that would help?
Also would I rub if I just take the spacers off, because if I wouldn't than it would be much easier than going through the headache of finding longer bolts that will work for these wheels.

Yes I actually have spacers on the front and rear, but the front isn't having an issue with the nuts running out of thread because of the spacer, they fit fine, its only the back that I'm having trouble with. And exactly like you explained I'm running out of thread on the nuts for the rear wheels. Would you know where I could possibly get a hold of a set of longer bolts for the rear wheels?

The spacer might be used due to clear the brakes or just to give it a more of a stanced look. I couldn't tell you. The offset determines where the wheels sit in the fender. Without knowing that, I can't even begin to tell you any more advise.
And yes you can get longer studs. Look on line or contact one of the venders here.

I just looked up the wheels OP, and the rears are only available in a 10.5" wide width and the fronts are 8.5" wide. Not the 9" front and 10" rear you mentioned.

The only thing I could think of was that the original buyer bought them in a custom size or they are just wrong and it is indeed 10.5" rear and 8.5" front.

Measure how think the spacer is in mm.

By the way thank you very much for clearing some of this up for me!
