Wing mirror indicator
Hi,
My wing mirror indicator is not working, The mirror defo works as I hooked it up to the other side and its fine.I stripped the door module off and I see the wires from the mirror plug into this so im guessing its all powered through the door module, The wires look ok and all other mirror functions are ok too. Any ideas?
Thanks

as it so happens mine does not work the same way, I had a crack in the rubber mounts and after one jet wash it just stopped blinking, so my guess either the wires disconnected or water totally messed electrical bits up, either way taking to garage next week, will let u know what i find out. most likely they will say order new wiring i.e. new mechanism

Hi,
Just to update, I managed to fix it. Stripped all the loom from the module to the mirror and all wires were fine so I traced the two wires back to the plug. when I looked in the module where the plug fits I notice one of the little pins was bent and was not seating in the plug when inserted. I managed to straighten it out and got the plug in and it is now working. Only problems are that the dash indicator is still flashing fast although I have not had started the car and drove it yet. Also managed to crack my mirror glass when put the cover back on but e-bay have them failrly cheap.
Thanks guys
