Linguatronic voice control to my w215
(also posted in the Audio/Electronics forum)
What would I need to retrofit Linguatronic voice control to my w215 CL500 MY '03 with COMMAND no phone, yet?
I know the module and lever are the first things that come to mind, but what else? Does the COMMAND need to be revisioned? Is there an replacement of dash parts to fit the lever? Will the VCR module work with the already in place 6-cd changer and DVD SatNav unit? Is there any other parts or pitfalls I should be aware of? Any part numbers and possible prices? My local dealership is of no use, unless the vehicle is less than 5 years old they don't want to deal with upgrades of any kind. So any help would be appreciated.

I can dig up the part #'s you will need if you want.
I retrofitted a couple for friends. It is costly considering alternatives.
After install of all the parts (PSE, etc.), the fiber ring, gateway, cluster, etc. need to be programmed via STAR DAS.

I use the blue tooth in my car and in order for it to work, I had to replace the voice control module. I waited and found one on ebay for a fraction of the cost of a new one (1100 buck IIRC). When I was looking for it, I ran across quite a few "full package" units the the stacks and modules etc. Its worth a look.
