Is this a good deal?
Hey guys, I went and looked at a 2005 Mercedes CL65 AMG tonight. The car is a US import as I live in Vancouver. 140,000km so about 83,000 miles. 2 owner car. Has been maintained at a local independent shop. No major work done, and no ABC work done. I will get the car checked out at Mercedes before a purchase anyways. The car is sitting on 22" Savini wheels, worth about 5k with rubber, still has the OEM wheels with new rubber. Lorinsor body kit as well as after market exhaust. The owner claims to have a chip on it as well. Says its about 800hp but I doubt that.It is a clean title no decs and looks immaculate inside and out. He wants 25k CAN for it. Is this a good deal? I saw that car on autotrader when I was selling my CL65. It looks terrible with those wheels and bodykit. Its a good deal for a reason. I was selling my car for $34k which included the OEM wheels, Custom 3 Piece WORK VSXX wheels (worth about 8K with rubber), lowering module, new ABC pump and numerous hoses, brakes etc and all the maintenance done. Many people wanted it but couldn't get the money for it. If you're interested in a proper CL65, shoot me a PM. I'm located in Edmonton.
