Trying to install lowering module.

Trying to install my lowering module and on the first step it says remove pin 42 but that pin space is open and there is no pin in it. What am I doing wrong? I am looking at the ECU on the drivers side fuse box and I am looking at the inner ECU. I even looked in Star for the ECU location. Is a 2006 CL65 different?

Well I am guessing the ABC module isnt the inside one like Star says because more of the wire colors match up with the outside module. So I wired the Lowering module by pin position but they don't match up of what the pin color is supposed to be in Star. Guess we will see if it works.

How are the instructions otherwise, does it look like a DIY project or does it require cutting wires, soldering etc?

No its a very easy install. Just depin some wires. You know mine would have been super easy but the wire colors just dont match what star says so that bugs me. If you dont look at star I guess it wouldnt matter because you install by pin location and not color of wire.

Make sure to swap your rear wires. Other wise the rear will raise while the front will lower.

See what does that mean to swap rear wires?

take the LEFT wire and put to where the manual says to put the RIGHT. and put the RIGHT wire where the manual says to put the LEFT.

i have V2 had to do the same.

And the ecu you want is.. engine bay > drivers side > right outermost ecu (when looking straight into the engine bay). will look like this

I did figure out where the ECU is. The problem I been having now is it says the lowering module is connected but it never changes the voltages. I will switch the back wires but I know that wont fix the voltage not changing issue. I am guessing its a problem with my laptop software bit just haven't had time to mess with it.
