What doers everyone think of the MB extended warranty. Would it help resale? Anyone have any experience with this warranty?

I have a coworker with a 2000 S500 that he had to bring in for various small problems, and fought with MBZ to let him buy the extended warranty after 16 months (ordinarily, you must purchase it within the first 12 months). With this in mind, and all the complicated electronics in my CL500, I fully plan on purchasing the extended warranty (the full one that covers the electronics, not the basic one). It's expensive, but so is this car.

Keep in mind that the MB extended warranty (Yes the full Premimum one) DOES NOT cover the COMAND system. I could not believe it when I read that part of the contract. I wish Mercedes would stop telling us what it covers and just tell us in black and white what the warranty does not cover. A lot of things are in a gray area.
