Cl600 Biturbo vibrating
Hello there,
I am new here so not sure if I could post a new thread or had to use the search engine, so forgive me if I did soemthing wrong.
Yesterday my CL600 caught some kind of a problem, maybe if you read it, you will be able to recommend me something.
When I start my car, I can easily drive and there are no issues with it, but if at some point I take it over 3k rpm, the car starts to vibrate horribly. When I let go of the acceleration pedal the vibration is gone but at any moment when I touch it again the vibration is back.
If i stop and restart the engine, the vibration is gone and I can drive without any problems until I take it over 3k rpm, then all the same problems are back agian until I restart once again.
Any ideas what could be the fault? Sparkplugs? Coils? Something wrong with the ignition?
Thanks.

engine mounts
You will most likely need new engine mounts. I had a similar issue when I first got my CL, replaced the transmission mount but the vibration persisted. When I was having ABC hoses replaced, tech noticed that engine mounts were cracked so I had to replace them. After that vibration was gone. You should also inspect your front struts. They are under a lot of stress and - depending on mileage - they can "crack" (top piece cracks and even separates from the strut). This won't give you ABC message but it can contribute to noise and vibration.
