W215 battery drain

Hello all

Hopefully some of the electric wizzes on here can help me out! I have got the dreaded battery drain issue in my CL. At first I thought it was just my battery going bad so got a new one at the dealers. Fine for two days than it just dead. So got myself a little fuse blade meter from Maplin and set about checking each fuse - of course I left the necessary areas open and locked the car and waited 30mins before checking the fuses. From looking about on the internet it appears that a draw of 50ma to 65ma could be normal for the w215's . Anyway Fuse 82 which I understand covers the following:

AAC[KLA] control and operating unit (N22)
Heating System Delivery (A31)

was pulling 1.26a - so I think the issue is with this one as the combined ma of all the remaining fuses equated to 62ma. Does anyone know what the two items in the points above are/control and what in them could be causing the issue. Any help and comments very welcome
Thanks

This will not fix your problem but the following two products at Amazon work as a long term solution to cars with current leaks and dead batteries as they will let you disconeect and reconnect the battery with the click of a remote, no need to get in trunk and remove cable

Thanks for that - I never even knew such a thing existed!

I would still like to find my problem though even if I went ahead and got one of these

there have been problems with the memory on the seats drawing power. disconnect the seat modules and see if you still get a draw.

So when you say seat modules do you mean remove fuses 64 and 66 which are the controls for the driver and passenger seats? Thanks

Ok so it is actually the seat controls themselves. Is there a particular way of disconnecting them?

Sorry to be a pain but is this located under the seat?

actually i'm not sure about the seat, but they can be disconnected from inside the door, or at the fuse if there is one for the seats. i wouldn't try disconnecting at the door until you do some research on how to remove the modules form the doors.
