What is the part number of the recalled ABC hose ?
Recall number 04V228000
And 07V263000
However the part number of the hose that is recalled is not listed in the nhtsa recall bulletin or anything I can find online
Can anyone tell me what the actual Mercedes part number of the recalled /replacement hose is that was involved in this recall? Thanks

By second section, I mean the section that runs along the side of the engine, and NOT the bit that runs across the front of the engine?

I ask because I just had to pay my mechanic to replace an abc hose and was wondering if that part number was recalled in either campaign
My mb dealer tells me all recall work was done but it may have failed again and I think recalls allow for lifetime repairs

I think its also well-known that the pump output pipe under the engine was replaced.
Therefore I think that narrows it down to the pipe I described.

PS. I just had my V12TT trouble child MoT'd. That's the annual UK roadworthiness test, and strikes fear into the heart of owners of all old cars. This time last year I had just rebuilt my turbos, and was terrified that it wouldn't pass the emissions test, or it would overheat, or something like that. I shouldn't have worried so much last year, as I only failed on the parking brake, but it sailed through yesterday. Feels like I'm in control of my car at last.
FYI, I'm just about to replace the jubilee clips on the turbo outlet hoses with T-bolt clamps. I suspect that higher boost levels (and age) are causing occasional boost leaks, which cause immediate limp-home mode. Hoping to put a stop to that today. I have three different clips/clamps: the OEM jubilee clip (9mm wide / 26g), the Mikalor 63-68 clamp (20mm / 75g) and a generic t-bolt clamp (24mm / 174g). The latter both cost about £1.93 each, but the generic clamp is much more substantial (and difficult to fit).
