Cl500
Newbe

Hi my name is Derek and at present I own a CL500. I have owned this car since July this year. It came with a bit of corrosion around the rear arches and also sunroof. It also had the dreaded ABC droop on the front left quarter. I managed to source the seals for the ABC, so I have now fixed that. The car drives lovely, but the only thing I have not cured is the battery drain. It has already Cost me a new battery, but I am hoping someone on this site is going to give me an idea on where the problem is so I do not have to keep on plugging mr Battery charger in.

Hi Derek, welcome to MBWorld. Trying to pinpoint that parasitic power draw is going to be a pain I bet. Hopefully someone here can offer some guidance.

As a workaround you can get a battery brain t3 from Amazon
It's a key fob remote that attached to the battery and will completely disconnect /reconnect the battery

So when you car is off it can't drain . The downside is you might lose saved settings but it's easier than reconnecting a battery charger all the time
