Door soft close
Sorry, I'm sure this issue has been beaten to a pulp. I've searched and found lots of info. My drivers door soft close won't work and the power lock will not go down when the lock button on the fob or the button on the door handle is pushed. I found a thread that talked about removing the 20A fuse beneath the passenger rear seat. I did this and waited 15min. I was thrilled to find that the soft close worked. Problem is that it only worked for about 20 cycles and then went to sleep again. The power lock remained non functional. If anyone knows for sure what to do, I'd really appreciate some advice. I've braced myself for the bad news. What can be done to fix this problem.

This issue is an air leak in the door itself, after a certain number of tries the car acknowledges that the pump is trying too hard to close things in that door and shuts it off, which you reset by pulling the fuse but it doesn't correct the leak. You need to repair the actual leak in that circuit, which from what I've read is either in the latch itself if it's normally just the soft close, or could be in the distribution block in the trunk with the vacuum pump if you're also losing the power locks and other air actuated things in that door.
