Red face seat belt chime activation

Just a question to gain time

some idiot deactivated the seatbelt chime before I bought the car

since in das it's not responding, can anyone tell me from where the sound is supposed to come from ?

I've always noticed the sound but don't see a light. Pretty sure my first CL didn't even chime.

Most sounds are played through the Comand, but the trigger should be in the SRS system.

Thx ItalianJ
I found it in DAS since long, problem is when I trigger it in attenuations, no sound
as many people have no Das, I guessed that maybe they might have removed it physically from the cluster or so
that's why I am asking

I know I saw somewhere that a guy suggested that, cutting the wires to the speaker. Seems drastic.

Yea, the speaker is normally in the cluster itself.
