No Dip Stick ?
Interestingly enough the CL500 and CL55 do.
The manual confirms this fact.
It says use the Flex service system to check the oil.
I asked the dealer and the said that they have a "special"
$400 dip stick for the car.
Doe anyone besides me feel uncomfortable about having a car with a oil dipstick?

The computer is accrurate, however, as with most modern electronics, I still enjoy the 'old' reliable method of oil checking.
$400 for the shop dipstick !?!?!? Wow ! Is it 24k Gold plated ?
The C32 doesnt come with one and the C320 and C240 do have one... go figure.

Interesting?? I didn't even bother to check if mine has a dipstick. Probably not since it's a 02 model?? But geeez $400 bucks for a dipstick? Sounds like a dipstick trying to sell a dipstick? lol!
Sorry, had to !!!

Caution, my MB wrench says the electronic/diagnostic system and display for oil level is good but tells you only when it's low; not when it's overfilled. He has seen quite a number of overfilled crankcases, often resulting in sluggish performance and a "check engine" warning.

Is there an oil filter?
