Need to know Secondary battery location
Is there a secondary battery in W215 2003 CL600? If yes then can someone please pinpoint the exact location. I am having this red low battery warning light even when the main battery is new and alternator is charging. I am wondering that it could be the secondary aux battery (if there is one in this car). Will highly appreciate the quick response.

I'm not sure. When I disconnect the main battery while the car is locked, the alarm goes on. There must be something powering it. However, I have not found aux battery in any of the usual places (under the hood on passengers side, or below the cabin air filter).

The alarm has it's own battery.
