Thoughts on moving up to CL500

Thanks for the guidance everyone.
On the advise of member here on the forum, I am going to look for a 2003 or newer in Florida, out of the rust belt. Plus, following advice I received from guys in the Porsche community, "buy the newest model of the newest generation, you can find"!!
So i'll keep looking, which I don't mind. Discussed this with my Dad last night (he does not like Mercedes, he's a Lexus guy for cars and Ford for his trucks). He told me to go get a Taurus, since they stop making them by the end of the year....um, no. Got to love Dad's advice, but I'm sticking to my 'Benz!
