CAN BUS to CAN Bridge

CAN BUS to CAN Bridge
I've got an aftermarket head unit to install to replace the existing unit. However the vendor had not provided instruction on how to connect the CAN BUS wiring to allow the alarm to set correctly. The existing head unit has a one plug connector in the back of the unit. The vendor directed me to unclip the plug, which is really 2 plugs; the MOST optical connector and a 3 wire plug that they said was not needed. That was bad info: evidently that's the CAN system wiring, based upon the color coding of the wires. If it's not connected, it causes a battery drain and eventually a dead battery.
Does anyone know how to connect that 3 wire plug to prevent a battery drain and have the alarm set correctly?
Thanks,
Philip

very non understandable but I guess what you mean
the MOST convertor must be connected to the small +12v wire turning on your radio when you turn the key NOT to the always on RED wire
I think there is a purple or pink wire doing that but not sure at all
if you make pictures of the rear of the head-unit and that box I might recall
