C215 windows hitting the rubber trimHi All,
I could do with some advice.....my 2006 CL 500 windows are hitting the rubber trim when i close the doors.....they don't drop far enough on either side...
all 4 windows do there thing but the front windows just don't drop quick enough to get out of the way of the trim when i open the doors or low enough to miss the trim when i close the doors...
yes i have had the battery off but i still cant reset them...... if that is the problem...???
any help would be welcome.

I remember something from some time ago about "retraining" the windows/sunroof new batter installation or power disconnect/reconnect. If I am correction you have to roll the windows down and hold the button in the full down position for 20 or so seconds and then do the same on the way up...same for sunroof. Dunno if I am correct but there is a process to retrain the windows/roof. The google machine might help you.
