W215 CL600 Coilovers retrofit

Hey Guys,

I have ordered Yellowspeed coilovers and my question is, can I replace ABC tandem pump with standart power steering pump from W220 S500? Looking at it I think these two pumps have the same fitting position. Am I right or I have to stick in with ABC pump? I know that it is not a P7P solution. The question is if I would get a brackets from SL65 Black Series will it fit wit and also can I swap my pulley from my pump to V8 pump?

I have done some research into it by looking into the part numbers is well. So looking at SL65 Black Series pump with the number: A005 466 99 01 it also has a belt pulley with the number of: A628 236 00 10 and the bracket for the pump which is: A000 466 32 40

I was searching an ebay and I have found power steering pumps with the number of A628 236 00 10 which was probably taken from the belt pulley as this is the number from the belt pulley. I have done more research and I have found out that this pump A003 466 05 01 is matching closely with A005 466 99 01 and they are using the same belt pulley. The question is, will this pump fit the bracket from SL65 and will it work just fine in W215 CL600? I have also found BOSH K S01 000 737 which is direct fir to SL65 BS? Or possibly attach some other pump to the bracket from SL65 BS?

Hello, I have been working on my M113 recently and was doing research to delete the ABC Suspension. Tavarish on Youtube has done something similar and has a great video on this. You do have to change the pump and delete the reservoir. The link:
Good luck!

I replaced the tandem pump on my CL500 with a W220 non abc pump. We had to pull up some slack from the high pressure line to connect it and just used the existing reservoir to feed it. The pump bolts up perfectly since the S500 and CL500 have the same M113 engine. The question you have is does the CL600 engine have the same mounting pattern? I would look at the tandem pump part number for the CL600 and compare it to the CL500 and see if they are the same. If so, I'd expect the S-series pump to work on your engine.

I have Yellowspeed coils in my car. The ride is "livelier", meaning it fees as if the car is actually connected to the ground and not dampened by the ABC. I prefer it. I have a thread about my experience with the YS coils and some other folks do as well. I think it was @pmercury who posted the initial lengths to adjust the coils for his CL500...yours may be different since the front is heavier. I dialed my dampening in the middle for the coils and then made them a bit more dampened in the front after driving for a bit.

I do not miss the ABC...buh bye headaches!

Oh, by the way, and this is IMPORTANT! DO NOT pull the fuses to get rid of the ABC warning. Remove the ABC control module from the box located under the hood on the driver (left) side in the module/fuse box. If you pull the fuses you will get an ABS warning and your cruise control won't work. Pulling the module kills the ABC entirely and all you get is a white ABC warning when you start the car, and that can be cleared by pushing the "R" button.

Pump I used - https://www.ebay.com/itm/A-Premium-P...temCondition=3 (I bought from a different seller)

Did you ever find out what power steering pump works on your CL600? I'm hoping it is the same on my CL65 for the ABC pump delete.

thanks!
