ECU runs the motor but won't connect to DAS
I need to get the car to pass inspection so that it can be registered, which means clearing and/or resolving the CELs.
But the ECU won't communicate with DAS. Car starts and runs well, other units are accessible with DAS so I know my hardware and the OBDII interface are good.
Wondering if anyone else had a similar issue, and if it required replacing or repairing the ECU?

I don't know if you have already solved your problem, but first make sure that you are running the correct year break in DAS. Mercedes wired some of the ECU K-lines to pin 3 and some to pin 7 on the diagnostic connector and DAS needs to know where to look. If it still doesn't find it, check to make sure that the pins are not pushed out of the connector.

I mailed it out and it was repaired, all good now and I can connect with DAS, no more CEL (sort-of). Pricy though!

Worth mentioning that prior to mailing it for repair, I was able to verify wire continuity from the OBDII port all the way to the ECU, just to be certain.
