ESP fault

Just went for a drive in my 2003 CL600, then cleaned it. Then went to move it and the dash flashed ESP defective visit workshop and the car would not start - any help please!
Also noticed that when the ignition is on the 2 red lights are showing on the ride height switch and one light is showing on the ABC sport switch as well, then go off when the key is off.
The car has been sitting for a while with the battery on maintenance charge.

In key position 2 those lights always go on and remain on until the engine is started. When cleaning the car did you leave lights or radio on. Could just be a run down battery.

Hi - thanks - I have never noticed those lights ever before being on when you start the car? But I tend to agree with you that the battery voltage is low as I have had problems with the car not responding to the keys as well - all low voltage issues. .. thanks again.

New - battery fitted - no improvement - car still won't start , no response to the key. Dash goes out when I turn the key.
