Trunk and soft close works for a bit?

Hey guys my trunk does not have the power close its all done by hand but I can press the button on my key or inside the car to make it pop open. The problem is if I disconnect and reconnect the battery it will work fine for about one month then one day just wont open with the key or button inside the car, I have to start opening it with the manual key. Not sure why it does this? If I disconnect and reconnect the battery again it will work for about one month and stop. Also this happens with the soft close it will work for about 1 month then just stop until I reset the battery. Any ideas why?

Whats also strange is that my driver side soft close has a leak so it does not really work I just hear it leaking air but it still wants to work but as I said the passenger one will work perfectly fine for about one month then just wont activate unless I do the battery thing.

That happens when you have a leak
the compressor shuts down the leaking part until reset so the pump doesn't burn out and the other parts get enough pressure to work

at least, if I remember well

Yeah the thing is my driver side soft close the leak is so big it does not even close just leaks everything out but since I am always the driver I never use it. On the other hand my passenger one works perfectly and most of my passengers end up using it since most people are not used to such a big door, but thats the one that will randomly stop working at all but my driver side one even though it leaks it still activates.

So the system times out the one that actually works but the one that has the leak keeps working? Thats what is going on with it maybe I made it hard to understand, The driver side which I do not use because it leaks works I can hear it but the passenger one that does not leak (works fine) does not turn on, same with the trunk.

both side now:
