Leaking ABC hydraulic fluid
I have an '04 CL 500. One day after I filled up the ABC reservoir I heard a loud pop. When I got home it was leaking hydraulic fluid (Pentosin) and the driver side was down all the way. I checked the fluid and put in 1 quart and it all leaked on the floor. At first I thought that there was a problem with the struts but after thinking about it think maybe the problem is something else.
I don't want to take it to mechanic who may want me to replace the struts and a bunch of other stuff. I want to research the problem before taking it to someone.

Could be a lot of stuff, its probably a line just lift the car up and have someone pour it again and check where it comes from. Sometimes the mechanic is the only thing but if you find where the leak comes from just tell them to replace that.

This has been covered on here hundreds of times. Find the source of the leak. Most common culprits are the engine bay lines, and the lines going to the valve block in the left front corner of the car. If one hose is failed, the others are not far behind. If they are wet at all, they need to be replaced. There is too much pressure in the system for a slightly leaking hose to be expected to last.
