Question white abc light visit workshop

was getting all kinds of crazy codes. thought it was related to battery. changed to a new 3 year battery and all codes are gone, but and everything is good still get a white abc code visit workshop and doors will not lock, or unlock with key. was wondering how i can correct these problems. occasionally the car systems work properly and everything is good, but even then i cannot lock, or unlock the door with the remote key.
any help is greatly appreciated.
thank you, harv

Does your car have keyless? If yes, try to use the remote key more often. To get the key back in working order; start the car with the remote key.
Have you rebuilt the valve blocks?
Is the car sagging?

thank you for your reply. i use the remote key at least 4 times a day, but still have the problem with the white abc visit workshop light. i'm going to open up the left door panel and see if there are any disconnected hoses that might cause the abc white light to appear. i will also check to see what module is available to switch. i ordered a new trunk release module. i believe that will solve the problem with the trunk not opening. i have installed new valve blocks and the car does not sag at all.
i do have star diagnostics with developer mode to reprogram all new modules.
any other suggestions.
the best, harv

I don't think the ABC problems will be solved by something in the doors. The ABC control module is located inside the dashboard (above the handbrake release lever)

tim, thank you for your input. it is greatly appreciated. do you know if the module is plug and play, or will it have to be reprogrammed through mercedes star diagnostics with developer mode.
anything else that you can ad is greatly appreciated.

You trunk and door locks don’t work because they operate on air…..normally the valve in the door bust and the system detects leak and the pump have a safety shut off…..the control valve is located on the passenger side trunk area and can be smoked to find leaks…. Hope this helps

Chris, thank you for your help. i've found the broken valve in the door and ordered a new one. as far as the control valve in the passenger side trunk area under the rear seat, i bought a numbers matching replacement for the old control module for the trunk release. i've been told that the module is plug and play and doesn't need to be programmed into the cars system. i am hoping that this is correct. do you agree with this statement. again thank you for your knowledgeable response. any other feedback is absolutely welcome.

no prob!! Are you talking about the valve block that all the air lines plug into? If so this is plug and play and does not need to be programmed

Also I would fix leak and then test trunk before replacing the part your talking about…..the trunk won’t work if the door is leaking
