2004 CL500 ABC problems
Hi All,
Whilst driving a few weeks ago my car displayed a red ABC Drive carefully warning so when I got home I checked the fluid level and it was definitely low, no obvious signs of leaking. I topped up the system and it took almost a litre of fluid! I drove it again and this time all seemed fine until I got home when it displayed a white ABC Visit workshop warning.
I contacted the garage and its booked in but they can't look at it until mid October.
Today I checked the levels, all was perfect. I took the car for a 10 mile drive and all seemed fine, no warnings and car behaved perfectly. When I got home I rechecked the level with the engine running and all was good. I then decided to see if the car would raise and lower - not so good!!! The car immediately displayed the white visit workshop warning, didn't raise and when I opened the bonnet (hood) to check if all was okay the ABC dipstick had been pushed off and there was fluid all over the top of the reservoir and dripping.
There is no fluid on the drive but a limited look from lying on my back seems to be fluid over the oil pan/sump but I can't see where its coming from.
Has anyone got any idea what the over pressure and spraying out of fluid when I asked it to raise/lower points to?
Thanks for any help.
