DIY ABC flush
This relates to a 2002CL500.
I’m considering doing a DIY ABC flush on my CL. I’ve done a good amount of reading on the subject, but have one question. If I can’t perform the “rodeo” process, it’s recommended to warm the suspension fluid, change the filter, suction the old fluid from the reservoir, fill the reservoir with new fluid, and begin the flush. It’s recommended to have an assistant in the car exercising the suspension with the center console switch. Is it possible to do this flush by just running the engine, w/o exercising the suspension. I get the impression that exercising the suspension allows the fluid to flow faster through the system and nothing else. Am I correct in that assumption?
