Buying '01 CL500 - rear quarter panel replacement possible?

Hi guys, I'm looking at potentially buying an '01 CL500 that was sideswiped. The driver's-side door and fender need to be replaced for sure, and the rear quarter panel most likely. I know the door can be, but the front and especially rear quarter panel I'm not sure about. (Also, price is $2,500 - is this a decent deal?)

If it does need replacing, is it something I can do myself? Are the fender and quarter panel held in with clips or screws, or are they attached to the chassis some other way (welded, etc.)?

I've been looking all over the internet and haven't been able to find any information regarding replacement of these panels, so any info on whether it's even possible or not would be helpful. Thanks!

Hi, maybe this video will help you. For about 4 minutes the story has been related to this topic.

The entire side structure is also better visible here.

Really on your side of the ocean the cost of a rear fender is $ 2,500?
Wow... really huge money. In Poland, I can buy a full back for around $ 60.

This place is a joke.
It will cost more to fix than the car is worth.

Hi, thanks for the response. The car itself is $2500, I'm not sure about the exact panel prices yet but they are available in pick-a-part ranging from around $100 to $150. I was asking whether the price of $2500 for the car is a good deal, bearing in mind i need to replace/repaint the fender and door?

Hi, thank you for the response. I know the car isn't worth a ton of money nowadays, but i don't know much else about what they're worth so I appreciate any input on this. The price of the car as is is approx. $2500. There are enough of these chassis availabile in pick a part that I can find the parts secondhand there for $100-$150 apiece, as I mentioned in another comment. Engine runs perfectly, no ABC suspension issues, just body panel replacements and potentially a rear control arm changed.

Would it still not be worth it in your opinion? I would be repairing, keeping it for ~6 months, then selling.
