Electrical issues
Hi there literally just bought an 04 cl55 today and drove it home. Has a couple issues that I looked for answers for on the site but could not find. The sunroof will not one touch open. You press the button and it moves like 2 inches and stops. You can keep doing this until fully open but it’s very annoying. It will close with one touch though so I’m a bit confused.
secondly it will not push to start and won’t lock/unlock the doors.
appreciate some insight on anyone who has info on either problem

your sunroof needs resynchronized. Open the roof one step at a time. Once open, hold the switch in the open position for 10 seconds, then close the roof. Should now open/close with one touch.

You should also do this for your all of your windows too, if you have problems with them opening.
The rear windows are not able to be one-touch opened.
This procedure needs to be done every time the car loses power.
