Question Driveshaft U-Joint Part Number?

Does anyone know the part number for the Universal Joint in the driveshaft by chance?

2000 CL500

Getting one just by size may be tricky.

Size: cap diameter : 0.945" , length = 3.5"

Thank-you.

I did get one and replaced it. Its a metric size. If you search for a "24mm x 88mm Staked U-Joint" you will find some online. Mine is a perfect match.

If you replace yours be sure to completely remove (grind out) the old staked points in the yokes. If there's even a little bit left they can crimp the new caps upon install shrinking it and ruining the cap.

It will allow you to find all the parts of the CL. You might want to select the CL500 first ;-)

It doesn't have a part number in there. They want you to buy a whole new shaft.

I can imagine why, the shaft has been balanced as a whole. So you'll need both ends of the shaft to keep that balance.
That's why you can't and shouldn't replace the U-joint and or one of the shafts
