Wheel cross compatibility?
Im looking for aftermarket wheels for 2004 Cl55. Crossing my fingers that I could find a deal if I look for used offerings from other platforms...so what other MB platforms I could cross shop? W220? W230?
Looking for strong wheels that arent too heavy. Looking through the service history of my car, I see a lot of wheel repair receipts. Not sure if they were bending or if they were just fixing curb rash but lets see whats out there

W220 Wheels will work, the W215 and W220 chassis are basically identical. W230 should also work but the offset of the wheel might be different. But bolt pattern wise all mercedes are the same, 5x112. But cracked wheels aren't uncommon on the original wheels, they are pretty strong and light but if the tire pressure goes low and the tires are pretty low profile, it's the wheel VS the pothole at that point.
