2004 CL 500
Possible electrical issues
Hello all, i own a 2004 cl 500 with a issue and heres the story. I just had the cluster recently refurbished due to what i thought issued with it talking to the car.
It would throw up random errors, e brake engaged light when it was not, gauges would drop and at night the lights will flicker. Fast forward to today and i try it again, it repeats the issue, i turn it off, let it sit, turn it back on and it doesn’t do anything off, display works correct, displays errors I’ve known about.
im really lost and could use some assistance. Thank you.

My mechanic has not noticed any issues with it, i unfortunately take my car there alot lol. But i have made sure theres no water on the SAM or getting into the fuse boxes. He does keep saying my battery isnt right but i got the new one from o’reilys and it sizes in the whole compartment. Could it be a short, maybe the battery connectors are corroded?

Well if the car tells you your battery is not right, there is an issue with the power supply somewhere.
Could be a corroded or lose contact, I'd suggest to start tracing power lines to the module that measures and generates the battery warning (ICM?).
