2002 cl600 had misfires on 456789 cylinders
any ideas ? The original plugs were shot so i at least would have expected it to run better than before
You said the plugs were "shot". Was there a lot of oil on the threads? Is your valve cover leaking? Oil wicks up and destroys the ignition coil. It's a little weird that it's 456789 because those are on two separate banks.
(bad rubber seal) on bank 7/8/9
car now starts & idles far better but i still have a misfire on 4/5/6 ,
i am going to try the o2 sensors before shelling out on a coil pack etc
when i said plugs were shot , they were avtually rusty with signs of arcking , some of the boots were hard & with signs of damage , there was no signs of oil seepage
