possibly purchasing cl600

Hello,

I currently drive an '03 BMW 330Ci, which I realize does not even come close to the CL600. I was recently presented the opportunity to purcahse an '02 CL600 with around 16K miles for $55K. I find this to be a great deal and was wondering what you thought of it.

I am a younger driver and absolutely love the CL600, but I know its a lot of car. Any advice would be much appreciated. What do I need to consider before signing the bottom line? Is that a great deal or about right?

Thanks!

thats a f*^king nice car, (sounds like a REALLY good deal, actually) the only thing I would be worried about is all the extra attention/looks you'll be getting with that car, especially since you are young. its cool at first, gets annoying after a while (and peopel DO talk) , just make sure you get dark tints ;-)

Quite leap

That is quite a leap, from a BMW 330 to a CL600. You seem to be skipping over a lot of interesting, sporty rides like the rest of the BMW line, Porsches, even some Audi's. What are you going to drive when you are older?

That is a really good price. I am really a CL fan and just 2 weeks ago a 2000 CL500 with 80k was going for 40k (private seller) on Autotrader. So your deal is a fire sale.

And yes that is a monumental jump! LOL

IMHO, that's a good price assuming the car has nothing wrong or defect.

Good Luck

Go for it m8, you will not regret for one single minute.
I bought my 600 back in August & have loved every minute of it.
I'm only 32 so considered a younger driver too the only advice I would give you is that there was an upgrade to the 600 in 2002.
Bi-turbo, widescreen command,etc...

And if you don't take that car let me know, I will... and I will give you a finders fee. Thats a steal.... 55K... I'd grab it in a heartbeat. Can I ask how old you are anyway? If you are too young it may look like its dad's car... but who cares... you will love it.

By the way the upgrade was 2003, not 2002. 2002 made available keyless go and AMG sport package on the options list (over 2001).
