Hi guys, in the last week I did about 1000 kilometers in 3 days on Italian/Swiss mountains. Amazing places, wonderful roads, it was a pleasure to drive the CL without thinking to go from a point A to a point B, but just for the pleasure to admire the landscape and drive.
The best pic for me? The one shot on the Furkapass in front of the Belvedere Hotel, remembering Sir Sean Connery in 007 Goldfinger.

Thank you for the pictures! I remember when me my gf did Stelvio and Furkapass few years ago with my ex-SLK55. Top down we blasted those narrow roads and tried no to hit cyclists. Lots of pictures to share but they are from SLK-era.
I did a small road trip (6092km) to Andorra this June with CL. What a car to do long trips.
I’m Frank from Germany, and I’ve been driving classic Mercedes-Benz cars all my life. My very first car—at 16—was a 200 Diesel (W123). Over the years, I’ve owned several models, including the W116, W126, W124, R107, W210, W211, and W201.
The one I loved most was my 560 SEC (C126), which I drove for twelve years. It was finished in color code 199 with champignon leather. After a few years mainly driving E-Class models, I finally found a worthy successor to the SEC: a 2009 CL 550 4MATIC in color code 197 with beige leather.
I bought it from the first owner, complete with all records and books. It’s very well equipped, including Night View Assist, ventilated massage seats, an Alcantara headliner, DISTRONIC Plus, Intelligent Light System (ILS), Blind Spot Assist, and the newer COMAND system with an SD card slot.
I’m very happy to have found this car and hope to enjoy many years of driving it.
