No Audio from command, but NAV fine?
I have a 2008 CL 550, for last 3 weeks, no sound has been coming out of the stereo. The FM shows a screen without frequency stations, SAT shoes "device unavailable". The CD player will not play music.
But the NAV system works perfect, just no sound. I have been looking around online and something that keeps on being brought up is AGW (Audio Gateway). I don't know if it is faulty, or gone bad.
One of my mechanics who owns a STAR system said that the command unit shows the fault codes, but they can't be erased and he has to physically go in the trunk and take whatever out and check it. The problem is, he won't be back for another month and I am wondering if it is something that I can fix or try to fix?
