2012 CL550 Purchase advise
Hello, I am thinking of buying a 2012 CL550 bluefficiency model. Everything seems OK so far with one exception, a previous MOT has failed the car with issues with the front suspension:
The car was passed the next day. Now this seems fishy and i checked other CL550 cars and all seem to have this pattern; fail one day, pass the next. I doubt new suspension was fitted in 24 hours and since it appears on a lot of cars I was wondering if its a false positive with this model?
At the same time I was "burned" with the airmatic of a W220 so I want to be extra cautious about it.
- Nearside Front Lower Suspension arm has excessive play in a ball joint (2.4.G.2)
- Offside Front Lower Suspension arm has excessive play in a ball joint (2.4.G.2)

MINISTRY OF TRANSPORTATION (MOT). WHY NOT TAKE IT TO A MERCEDES DEALER AND HAVE THEM CHECK IT OUT?
