Any after market TPMS out there?

I order rims, tires and an extra $200 for TPMS and they never worked. after switching the rims the car never gave an error until a week later. I thought the after market sensors was working, I guess not.
I took it to the tire shop, they said you have use MB tire sensors only and after markets wont work. Is that true??? they were unable to reset the sensors with the computer it says no sensor detected.
I dont want to catch a flat and not know it and mess the rims up.
Is there an after market TMPS that works with my 08 CL550

Aftermarket ones will work. As long as they are correct frequency and are programmed correctly b4 installed.

This is an older post but you can buy aftermarket TPM's that have the correct frequency. Cost is generally $115 for a set. I've bought two sets over the last couple of months and they work. I takes about ten miles for the sensors to record actual PSI's.
