Drivers door keyless entry
My specific car is the 2012 CL550.
The Drivers door does not lock or unlock by touch like the passenger does. The passenger door works perfectly. The local MB dealer said the door handle was defective and needed to be replaced. I did so, but it did not fix anything. The Key FOB will lock and unlock both doors properly. Is there some module inside the door frame that the handle plugs into that could be defective? Or is all this some type of programming issue thru the star system? Greatly appreciate any input or help.
