The Distronic on my 2010 550 shuts off after 15-20 minutes on highway, and it's pretty hard to get it to resume unless I stop and cycle ignition off/on. I'd note that my highway travel is in the desert SW USA and it can be many minutes before the Distronic radar might see another vehicle ... if that makes a difference. My grille star cover is new.

Is there a setting change to address this or is this a component failure? If the former, what are the details to address?
