a problem with "Night View Assistant" on my 2007 CL550 is when I activate it at night it gives me an error message on the dashboard saying " Night View Assistant is Not Available". it is not permanent and sometimes it activates and works perfectly. works completely randomly. I used Foxwell diagnosing tool to read the code and it describes the code as " No connection to the component 'B84/2 (Night View Assist Camera)'.
Has anyone had the same problem or knows how to fix this?
The Night View camera is at the top of the windshield. Carefully pry off the cover and the plug is at the rear of it. Just make sure the cord is pushed in all the way. Then carefully put the cover back on.
Actually tried it now. the thing is I could not remove the roof cover to get to behind the connector but tried a little and played with it and it started working.
