Anyone in the Tampa FL area know how to work on these cars ? I recently relocated to the area and would like to find a reputable tech work on my car. I also installed the car play unit and having a minor issue with it and would like to find someone to help me out with it.

Thanks

Was hoping not to have to use the dealership so really looking for more of an independent shop.

Not sure about other's experience with MB of Tampa, by I take my vehicle to them with eyes closed. In fact, I drive 30+ miles in the Tampa area to avoid a closer dealership (2.5 miles from my house).

If you go to MBofTampa, you can ask for Bob Net as a service agent. First class, never an issue, no pushing extra services and the car always returns back impecable. He always gets me a loaner for any service type (they are not going to give a 30+ miles ride).

However, I have not used the out of premises body shop they use, and you should research them if you are interested in body work (rumors abound).

I understand there are a few independents (former MB techs from MBofTampa or other dealers) around the area of the dealer. One of them (do not recall the name) reviewed my sister's car (at no charge) and he recommended the dealer instead because he was not 100% certain of the fix (ABS pump). Guess, he was right all along. Worth reviewing those Indy around the stadium.
